Privacy Policy

Cirrodeck is an independent, read-only iOS client for Scaleway. This policy explains what happens to your information when you use the app and this website. In short, we don't collect any of it.

Data we collect

None. Cirrodeck has no accounts, no analytics, no crash reporting service, no advertising and no third-party SDKs. We don't track you across apps or websites. We run no servers that receive data from the app.

Your Scaleway credentials

The API access key and secret key you enter are stored only in the iOS Keychain on your device. The secret is protected so that reading it needs your device passcode, Face ID or Touch ID. Cockpit metric tokens you paste in Settings are stored the same way. Credentials are never sent anywhere except to Scaleway, to authenticate the requests you make.

Network connections

The app connects only to Scaleway, on your behalf: to Scaleway's API (api.scaleway.com) to read your resources and billing data, and, if you add a Cockpit token, to your Cockpit metrics endpoint (on scw.cloud or scw.eu) to read metrics. It never creates, changes or deletes anything in your account. Scaleway's handling of those requests is covered by Scaleway's own privacy policy.

Data stored on your device

To work offline, the app keeps a cache of the resource and billing data it last loaded. The cache stays on your device. You can clear it in Settings. Disconnecting an account removes its saved key and cached data from the device. It doesn't revoke the key at Scaleway, so do that in the Scaleway console if you no longer need it.

Demo mode

Demo mode uses fictional sample data bundled with the app and makes no network requests.

This website

cirrodeck.com is a static site. It sets no cookies and uses no analytics or third-party scripts. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs, such as IP addresses and request times, for security and operations.

Children

Cirrodeck is a tool for managing cloud infrastructure and isn't directed at children.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date above.
